RIIRIS202D Respond to Site Based Spills
This course has been developed with industry and regulator support to help site personnel respond to spills and reduce spill harm to people, property and the environment.
Course Topics
This course will prepare participants to:
- Understand the impact of spills on the environment;
- Use a range of methods to identifying spill chemicals;
- Classify the severity of a spill and know when it is necessary to involve others; and
- Respond to a spill in a safe and effective manner.
Pre-requisites
This course is only suitable for those currently working in the resources, ports and heavy industry sector.
